Neurographic Art: Neurography is a meditative drawing process that combines psychology and art. The freeform line technique is said to link your conscious and subconscious mind and create new neural pathways.
This meditative drawing process can help to reduce stress, bring forth awareness and create an overall sense of well-being. It was developed by Russian psychologist, creative entrepreneur, and architect Pavel Piskarev in 2014. Neurographic art has been used as a healing aid for everything from stress relief, anxiety, chronic pain, and grief among many more.
This class will offer a calming break from your regular daily stressors utilizing your innate creativity as Marjorie gently leads you through the process. No artistic abilities are required, just an interest in creating an artwork that is not only intuitive but greatly beneficial to calming our emotional states.
