Summer Art Camp in Lansdale!

Camps for children age 6 to 10 and 10 to 14

Camp cost

  • Half Day session $260 per child per week (additional siblings/weeks discounted to $245)

  • Each session will be held onsite at Eclipse

  • Registrations are open throughout the summer based on availability

Age 6 to 10

Morning sessions from 9:00 am - noon

 

Age 10 to 14

Afternoon sessions from 1:00 to 4:00 pm

Additional Details:

  • Days will include free-style creative time, a chance to chill, and lots of artsy summer fun.

  • A *non-refundable $50 deposit per week of camp is required to reserve your space. Spaces are not confirmed until your deposit is received.

  • Early bookings must be paid in full by May 20 to guarantee your place.

  • After May 20 bookings will be reserved on a first-come first served basis by payment in full only.

  • There is a 5% processing fee for credit card payments

  • If the camp is cancelled due to lack of attendance your deposit will be refunded. 
     

Pick-up & Drop-offs:

AM Session: Doors open for drop off at 8:45, Pickup at Noon

PM Session: Doors open for drop off at 12:45, Pickup by 4:00 pm 
 

What do campers need to bring:

  • A snack for each session and a water bottle 

  • Some weeks we may ask for campers to bring some specific items for projects. Campers and parents will be notified before the week starts. 

  • Dress comfortably in clothes that are not precious, art is messy and clothing may get stained despite our best efforts to avoid that. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  • Refund (less 5% processing fee & deposit) for cancellations before June 1.

  • No Refunds for cancellations less than 14 days before camp.

  • Cancellations after June 1 will receive studio credit only. This includes all enrollments received after June 1. (if space is available once camp begins they can be booked up to 2 weeks prior to the start date.) 

  • Transfers will be permitted if space is available. The deadline for transfer requests is 14 days prior to your registered week.

  • Tuition will be refunded in full (including deposit & fees paid) if camp is cancelled due to low enrollment.

  • There are no make-up days, credits or refunds for missed days of summer camp. 

 

Camper Behavior Policy:

The safety and enjoyment of all campers is our top priority. Therefore, if your child creates an unsafe environment for themselves or other campers, or threatens or displays violence towards staff and/or students we reserve the right to refuse their continued participation in camp. Intentional destruction of the Center or other's property will also result in your child being removed from camp. Replacement and/or repair costs are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
 

Bullying is not tolerated. If it occurs the camper will be counseled and parents notified. If the child does not respond to the counsel of the instructor/director they may be refused further participation in summer camp.  

 

Tuition of the week that these behaviors are displayed will not be refunded. Tuition of any future weeks will be refunded. Deposits are non-refundable. 

 

Your enrollment in camp serves as your signed acknowledgment of and agreement to the liability waiver, terms, conditions and policies in regard to participation in Summer Art Camp at Eclipse.

Morning sessions 9:00 am - noon

  • June 29 - July 3, Into the Wild (Chrysta) discover, draw, paint, and create cool, creepy & cute animals who share our planet.

  • July 6 -10, Mix It Up! (Niki) in this exciting mixed media camp artists combine paint, collage, drawing & more to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

  • July 20 - 24, Character Creators (Niki) campers bring their imagination to life, sculping their character out of clay (superheroes, magical beings and unique creatures) and then design a custom space for them.

  • August 3 - 7, Inspired by Famous Artists (Niki) young creators will explore the styles and stories of well known artists while creating their own masterpieces.

  • August 10 -14, Just For the Fun of It (Chrysta) explore your artsy side with a variety of materials and techniques.

  • August 17 - 21, Under the Sea (Niki) explore ocean-inspired projects full of colorful fish, coral reefs, seac creature & underwater worlds.

  • August 24 - 28, Make It! (Niki) creativity takes the lead! From mixed media creations to DIY builds this camp is all about bringing big ideas to life.

Some weeks have 2 options, fine art or fun art.

  • June 22 - 26, Fine Art - Ink Drawing (Taylor) learn to create beautiful works of art using only ink pens! Create dynamic pieces like a pro!

  • June 29 - July 3, Wearable Art (Taylor) Tye Die, friendship bracelets, and more to decorate and express yourself with style!

  • July 6 - 10, Fine Art Inspired Van Gogh (Suzanne) drawing & painting including projects inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

  • July 6 - 10, Character Design (Taylor) Have you ever wanted to make your own character? Pick your favorite universe and learn how to design a character that feels unique and alive!

  • July 13 - 17, Acrylic Painting (Taylor) Learn the basics of acrylic paint, create a gallery-worthy painting using form, shape, value, texture & light!

  • July 20 - 24, Comics Class Part 1 Do you have a story to tell? Learn how to make your world jump off the page with comic panels!

  • Aug 3 - 7, Digital character design with Procreate (Violet) Explore the fundamentals of designing a character with Procreate! Campers must bring their own Apple Pencil & iPad with Procreate installed.

  • Aug 10 - 14, A la Carte Art (Violet) artsy crafty summer fun with a variety of materials, pastels, pencil, charcoal, paint, and clay.

  • August 17 - 21, Pen & Watercolor (Taylor) Learn to tame the wild mediums of watercolor and ink as we explore techniques to create unique and beautiful pieces of art!

  • August 24 - 28, Express Yourself Arts & Crafts Camp (Taylor) Explore a wide variety of crafty fun projects! You may even leave with a new hobby!

HEPA filters are run in the classrooms. 

Hand sanitizer is available. 

If your child is not feeling well please do not bring them to camp.
