Service Description
Instructor: Rachel Karr Gouache is a vibrant and versatile water based paint great for everything from graphic illustration to plein air landscapes. In this class you will explore a variety of painting techniques while learning about the tools, papers, and differences between the many types of gouache paint. Student are responsible to bring their own supplies. • Paint: Small set of student grade non-acrylic gouache paints (preferably liquid tubes) including white. Suggested brands: Turner Design, Windsor & Newton, Arteza • Brushes: Synthetic brushes designed for watercolor or mixed media. A set with 2 to 3 round brushes size 4 to 8, and flat brushes size --- • Paper: 9" x 12' (or similar) Pad or Block of 140 lb Watercolor Paper - preferably hot press, but cold press will work. To keep our guests and staff safe: - If your child is not feeling well please do not attend class. - Our classrooms & Gathering Gallery are outfitted with air cleaners with hepa filters. - Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building.
