Intructor: Taylor Murchie Medium: Acrylic Paint Give your children the gift of creativity and confidence in this Acrylic Painting class where they will explore color mixing and mark making while experimenting with different tools for texture and effect, building skills and having fun along the way. Student supplies needed: - a beginner set of acrylic paint (not craft paint) that includes red, yellow, blue, black and white paint - a set of their own paintbrushes, Michaels has a good selection and great sales. The students will be taught how to care for their supplies as part of class. - 9" x 12" canvas paint pad (these are also available at Michaels and amazon and are more affordable and space efficient then wrapped canvas or canvas boards ART IS MESSY! - Make sure your children come in clothes that will be ok to get paint on. It is going to happen no matter how careful everyone tries to be - Short sleeves are strongly suggested - We do have aprons on site but an old oversized button up shirt from mom or dad works well too.
