Phantasma: A supernatural being, such as a ghost, an illusory mental image, or an erroneous perception of reality.

Open call for our first annual spook show! We are looking for curiosities, oddities, dark, grotesque and moody artwork to fill these walls. Halloween is one of my favorite times of year, and I take it VERY seriously. We don’t do cutesy pumpkins here, lets get creepy!

  • Submissions accepted through AUGUST 21

  • Notification of submission status will be sent AUGUST 28

  • Installation pitches will be accepted. One installation pitch per form.

  • All 2d work must be under 5’x5’

  • This show will be juried.

  • You may attach up to four works, or one installation pitch per submission. One submission form = $20, if you wish to send in MORE than the FOUR works included, or more than one installation pitch, feel free to fill out another $20 submission form.

Thank you all, we can’t wait to see what you all send!

On July 30, from 6 to 9 pm, Eclipse Center for Creative Community will open its doors for the first time to welcome everyone into two galleries full of art that represents the artist’s interpretation of the light at the end of the tunnel.

The opening features art from 24 artists with 58 works located in the Upper Gallery, Boutique and Gathering Gallery. Refreshments will be served, and tours of the facility will be offered by the Owner/Director, Joanne Coppens and Gallerist, Kaitlyn Coppens. In addition, you will be able to meet some of the artists whose work is being featured, and some of our instructors and artists in residence.

This event is limited to attendees age 16 and over. The Gallery Opening will focus on giving attendees a chance to see fabulous art full of color and hope and meet the staff.

There will be a family friendly event in early August that will be open to all ages with lots of fun things to do, including seeing the art but also creating some of their own.
